A mythical, lying, third-hand epic poem retelling of a three-day holiday, involving a slow car accident, ice cream/video rental shops, frozen waterfalls and dried up rivers, floods of black water, Iceland's smallest mountain and deadest volcano, Scott Walker on a horse, delusion and happiness and self-pity, embarrassingly transparent metaphors, symbolic re-awakenings, clarity and distortion, other things...

Why not wilfully misremember and distort recent events from your own life in order to make yourself seem impressive?

These songs were written and played and sung and recorded on a Tascam Porta02 4-track tape recorder, a Sony M-527V Microcassette-corder and a PC by me in late summer/early autumn 2012.
